Previous Session
Three sessions left! In the last session the players began investigating the facility, snuck past a defensive crone, and found security tags allowing free access of the first floor. They failed to get into the autoclave and instead focused on the security room, accesing employee logs, security tags and security cameras. They also checked out the delivery room and saw a large hole in the floor leading to a cave of some sort. They did not have time to investigate the cave but seem to plan to head down there.
Some questions to be answered:- Where are the beastmen and what are they doing here? The beastmen are here at the facility for two purposes: To create new beastmen using the biopods left behind by the pre-fall humans & to re-activate "the Door" a portal that leads to another dimension, which the beastmen believe contains an environment that will solve a key biological issue they face.
- What is the ultimate threat of this place to Bastion? If "The Door" is opened it will likely lead to another global catastrophe similar to the fall, and if the letters to the capitol are too be believed then there will also be significantly more powerful beastmen pouring through and coming to destroy the remaining humans.
- What type of research did they do here?

Next session
The session will start with heading down into the hole. A short combat with weaker beastmen will give me an opportunity to drain some party resources and also give info on beastmen activities. They are stationed on the Sublevel 1 to prevent anyone from redirecting power up from the lower sublevels back to the whole facility. On this floor will be a power station and the party can then turn the elevator back on and move through some of the sublevels. In order to reroute power they will need to enter a password to the control PC. There will be a sticky note with a riddle on it for the players to solve to get power up and running. Once they do they can both take the elevator up (and the freight elevator down) and open the autoclave to get the higher level security card. They can then access either sublevel 2 or 3.

I want to setup the final conflict in this session. The party should discover bipods with the humans, as well as a few captured humans.
Sublevel Two - Storage and Processing
Lots of caving in on this floor, but there is a tunnel where some of the captured humans are chained in place. They can tell the party about some other humans that were taken down to level 4, including Momma. [Some lower level beastmen will fight them here and try to take the humans into a hole on the wall.] The hole in the wall leads to the 5th sublevel with the Biolabs.
Sublevel Five - Quarantine Facilities
Here will be numerous bits of info about experimentation on animals with the biological materials that came through the wall. There will also be some documentation of the Door requiring biological material to operate, and of the pre-fall humans using vast amounts of algae to engage 'The Door'.

The Finale
To do:- Print out a mutated fleshy boss (1)(2)(3)
- Print out or make a biomass Device
- Resolve how the biomass combat will go
- What will happen to the human survivors?
- Develop a series of challenges to get to the escape platform(timed)
- Loop the Emergency escape sound file
- Purchase red flashing alarm lights?
- Develop a map of the floor leading to the platform on Scorn's person
- Communicate to players only way to stop the door is initiate self destruct of the facility (Requires power core)
- Print out a believable Escape traincars The final combat being on an escaping timed train with obstacles it passes and a changing environment sounds epic, and the return of mutated scorn attempting to delay or destroy the train would be even more fucking epic.
- Combat to stop the Biomass generator and save the human captives (momma) If possible the prototype frame could be revealed during the fight? Perhaps Lotus can take control and rejoin the fight partway through? What mechanically could make this fight interesting?
- Discovery of Door activation and need for self destruct Door should absorb all energy types (weapons/bombs) but there is a way to use a fusion core to activate the self destruct sequence. How can I get the emergency notice into players hands?
- Save the humans and then go initiate self destruct send the humans up the elevator while the party stays back to intiiate self destruct?
- Once initiated show the Timer
- Escape through various skill checks and get to the platform/train (timed) Breaking apart debris, dodging debris, fighting stray beastmen, recalling the right way to go
- Final escape as mutated Scorn Returns Train cars could be 2x8, with 4-5 cars being slowly destroyed as the creature moves closer! Perhaps a large weapon exists in the final car incase it gets close?
